The Apesos New Tarot

The images on these cards are all oil paintings on canvas created between 2017-2019 expressly for this tarot deck. Like the traditional tarot deck, this new tarot has twenty-two cards in the Greater Arcana. Although the imagery is new, the creator hopes that these cards have the archetypical resonance of the traditional greater cards. The four suits of the Lesser Arcana are newly imagined by replacing wands, coins, cups, and swords with images  of animals, wood & stone, light, and history. Play with them with the traditional tarot configurations or create your own ways of arranging and re-arranging the cards. Although the images are new, the artist believes that with extended interaction these cards will acquire associations and meanings for you and so be able to offer to your imagination narratives that may reveal what you seek. This deck is a first edition (originally published through Kickstarter) that was a limited run of 100 copies. The deck box is stamped "First Edition" on the top flap and is signed by the artist on the back. The deck is complete, but does not include and instructional booklet.
