The Grand Etteilla Egyptian Gypsies Tarot deck is a stunning example of historical tarot. This is a "very ancient" deck and was one of the first decks designed specifically for divination. Created by wigmaker-turned-occultist Jean-Baptiste Alliette, who reversed his last name to become "Etteilla," the deck was unabashedly oriented toward fortune-telling.
